Literature Text

Love can move mountains, cross oceans wide
It's power bewilders when two hearts collide,
It crosses the sphere of a well guarded heart
Climbing walls of defense that slowly depart.

Love is forgiveness when hardship creeps in
To stumble is human, let healing begin,
Love is a mender of the saddened soul
It allows broken hearts to again become whole.

Love has no concept nor measure of time
Conflicting the balance of reason and rhyme,
It holds no resistance, unbiased by fault
To challenge its might, contender take halt.

Love marks the heart, with its eternal torch
It burns to the soul with its infinite scorch,
Love captures composure, leave sense to the wind
And begs to the angels to let it ascend.

If love seeks to find you and you open its door
There's much to be gained, if we choose to explore,
Love is God's gift and it can't be explained
But to know one was loved is a life memory gained.
I am a fool.
